WHO IS DOGFIGHT DISTRO? WHAT ARE OUR GOALS?
Dogfight Distro is a grassroots not-for-profit D.I.Y. collective whose main goal is to break down
accessibility barriers & provide resources within the local punk & hardcore scene, both within attending &
organising, to help further aid growth of community-focused D.I.Y. ethics & culture in the ‘Sydney’ scene as a whole.
WHAT ARE OUR PLANS?
Dogfight is a passion project and thus we have a large array of both short & long term plans for Dogfight Distro.
However, we have turned out focuses to a few main achievable avenues. These are a few of our current goals.
Establishing a gear library.
We are currently in the process of building a library of essential equipment and gear neccesary to host
D.I.Y. events. This gear will be available to hire for members of our community with a small fee and bond to help us
maintain the condition of our equipment and ensure it's safe return. It can be used for anything from book readings
to hardcore shows, so make use of it!
Distribution of zines.
Hence the distro part of our name, we will be releasing our own personal zines alongside the work of others.
With a focus on zines providiing information on prevelant issues within our community.
Organising all ages and benefit shows.

HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED?
While Dogfight Distro does not need any extra hands on help currently, you can help us help you by getting as involved
within the scene as you can! Attending shows is important, but so are many other aspects. Involvement means creatin
meaningful connections with the others around you, learning the history, seeking to educate yourself on issues that affect
those around you, starting bands, releasing zines & engaging in the culture every way you can.
To see change, we must mold it with our own hands.
So be defiant, be stubborn, be loud, be difficult, know what you stand for then dig your boots in and stand for it.
